The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) concluded its three-day Akhil Bharatiya Samanvay Baithak in Visakhapatnam, addressing critical national issues including demographic shifts, drug abuse, and youth protests. RSS Sah Sarkaryavah C.R. Mukunda highlighted concerns over changing population ratios affecting social harmony and emphasized direct engagement with India’s youth. He also confirmed RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat’s upcoming overseas tour aimed at global outreach.

The three-day All India Coordination Meeting (Akhil Bharatiya Samanvay Baithak) of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) concluded at Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, bringing together key representatives from 32 Sangh-inspired organizations to deliberate on pressingly relevant social and national issues.

Briefing reporters on the outcome of the deliberations, RSS Sah Sarkaryavah C.R. Mukunda highlighted serious concerns regarding regional demographic imbalances. He noted that varying birth rates and population shifts—where certain communities experience significant growth while others decline—are impacting long-standing social harmony in specific pockets of the country. The leadership called for comprehensive sociological and policy evaluations to maintain balance and stability across regions.

The conclave also held extensive discussions on systemic shortcomings and issues concerning the country’s youth. Addressing recent public demonstrations, including protests at Jantar Mantar, Mukunda acknowledged systemic gaps that need corrective action from both the administration and civil society.

The RSS stressed the urgent necessity of combating the growing threat of drug abuse reaching smaller towns, rural areas, and schools through coordinated multi-stakeholder efforts. Emphasizing constructive dialogue, the organization advocated direct, non-didactic engagement with India’s 35-crore youth population to understand their aspirations and integrate them into nation-building efforts.

Additionally, Mukunda outlined RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat’s upcoming international visit to the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom as part of the organization’s centenary celebrations and global outreach initiatives. The tour aims to counter misinformation regarding India and Hindu philosophy while promoting the universal message of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the world is one family).
