A 13 month-old Infant dies on train, M. Anushree, died suddenly while traveling with her parents on a train from Begumpet to Kakinada. Her parents noticed she was unresponsive as the train neared Secunderabad Railway Station around 9 a.m.. They rushed her to a nearby private hospital on the advice of railway medical staff, where doctors declared her brought dead. The Government Railway Police suspect ill health and are currently investigating.
A tragic event occurred on Friday when a 13-month-old infant, identified as M. Anushree, passed away suddenly while traveling with her family aboard a train bound from Begumpet to Kakinada. The family was traveling in the M2 coach of the Sainagar Shirdi–Kakinada Express when the medical emergency unfolded.
The family boarded train number 17205 at Begumpet Railway Station around 8:40 am. As the train approached Secunderabad Railway Station around 8:54 a.m., the parents noticed that the child had become completely unresponsive.

Upon deboarding at Platform 10, the family rushed the child to the station’s health center. Following initial advice from station medical personnel, the infant was shifted to Apollo Hospital, where attending doctors declared her dead.
The Government Railway Police (GRP) preliminary assessment indicates that the infant died due to sudden ill health during the train journey.
The Secunderabad GRP Sub-Inspector Teegala Madhav initiated a formal inquiry after visiting the site. Officials sent the body to Gandhi Hospital for a post-mortem examination before handing it over to the family. Law enforcement authorities confirmed that they are investigating the case from all possible angles pending the complete autopsy report.
