Legislative activity in Hyderabad, Telangana, is set to resume following official announcements regarding the upcoming parliamentary calendar. State leadership confirmed that the Telangana Assembly session begins September 7 after extensive preparatory discussions held at the state Secretariat.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy informed state ministers, Members of the Legislative Assembly, and senior party leaders during a Secretariat meeting that the legislative session will begin on September 7. The Chief Minister emphasized that legislators must prioritize legislative readiness and constituency development ahead of the scheduled sittings.

Telangana Irrigation: What Directives Did CM Issue?

The Telangana Chief Minister instructed legislators to urgently resolve pending land acquisition hurdles obstructing regional irrigation projects. He cautioned that major water infrastructure initiatives face indefinite delays unless land acquisition is completed on a priority basis. To support this directive, he assured lawmakers that the state government will provide required financial resources for land purchases, forest clearances, and Relief and Rehabilitation measures.

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, alongside senior state ministers including Uttam Kumar Reddy, Tummala Nageswara Rao, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, and Danasari Anasuya Seethakka, participated in the deliberations. Government whips and regional representatives also attended to discuss constituency-level development programs.
