Gulveer Singh Creates History With Three Medals
Gulveer Singh made history by winning three athletics medals at a single Asian Games edition, becoming only the second Indian man to achieve the feat. His 5000m bronze followed silver medals in the 1500m and 10,000m at the 2026 Asian Games.
Despite making history with three podium finishes, the Indian runner stated he aimed for a top finish and gold medal glory in Aichi-Nagoya. He pledged to build on his continental achievements and return stronger in upcoming international athletic championships.
