The Reliance data centre at Bhogapuram is expected to create direct and indirect employment while accelerating economic activity in Vizianagaram district, Collector S. Ramsundar Reddy said following protests by farmers over proposed land acquisition. The project requires nearly 855 acres across Polipalli, Bhogapuram East and Bhogapuram West. The dispute has placed compensation, land rights at the centre of local debate.
