India Hits Out At Pakistan At UNGA Session

on

India delivered a stern statement against state-sponsored cross-border terrorism during the United Nations General Assembly session in New York. Member of Parliament Biplab Deb addressed global diplomats, accusing Pakistan of continuously fueling terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir. India reaffirmed its firm stance that terrorism represents one of the gravest threats to international peace, economic development, and fundamental human rights worldwide.

India hits out at Pakistan at UNGA to demand global accountability for state actors that sponsor, finance, and shelter terrorist organizations targeting sovereign nations. The Indian delegation emphasized that targeting innocent civilians cannot be justified under any circumstances, asserting that there is no distinction between good and bad terrorism.

Will India’s Six Measures Strengthen Global Counter-Terror Efforts?

India presented six comprehensive priorities to combat global terror networks effectively. These measures include stopping terror financing, preventing the misuse of emerging technologies, placing victims at the center of international support, strengthening national capacity building, dismantling terror infrastructure, and confronting extremist ideological narratives directly.

Cross-border terrorism destabilizes global security, destroys infrastructure, disrupts economic growth, and violates basic human rights across affected regions. India stressed that the international community must enforce strict legal frameworks to prosecute perpetrators, organizers, and financial sponsors of violent terror incidents.

India called upon the United Nations to adopt stronger multilateral frameworks and ensure swift punishment for countries supporting terrorist groups. The delegation reiterated India’s sovereign right to defend its citizens and territory against hostile external threats while demanding decisive global action against terror networks.
