The state leadership prioritizes accelerating the Polavaram irrigation project and obtaining approval for vital developmental initiatives across Andhra Pradesh.

The Chief Minister visits the national capital to discuss pending state funds, infrastructure sanctions, and environmental clearances directly with top central authorities. Naidu aims to ensure seamless cooperation between the central government and the state administration for timely project execution.

Chandrababu Naidu Seeks Iconic Polavaram Bridge Funds?

Chandrababu Naidu will request approximately 33,000 crore rupees dedicated to land acquisition, relief, and rehabilitation for displaced families affected by the Polavaram project. He will also push for 2,300 crore rupees to build an iconic bridge connecting the Polavaram spillway directly to the national highway network.

The Chief Minister plans to hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Patil. Additionally, Naidu intends to interact with several central cabinet ministers overseeing transport, finance, and urban development portfolios.
