The Medical Assessment and Rating Board of the National Medical Commission (NMC) issued official Letters of Permission to Shri Ram Janaki Medical College and Hospital in Samastipur and Government Medical College in Chhapra, located in Saran district. Both state-run institutions gained authorization to admit fifty MBBS students each, adding one hundred government seats to the state’s total medical seat matrix.
