BRS Leaders To Attend Bathukamma Event In Dubai

on

A delegation of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) legislators and former lawmakers will travel to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to participate in the grand Bathukamma celebrations organized by the Emirates Telangana Cultural Association in Dubai. Scheduled for October 11 at the Shabab Al Ahli Sports Club, the cultural event highlights Telangana heritage and connects non-resident Telanganites across the Gulf region.

The official visit follows directives issued by BRS Working President KT Rama Rao (KTR) after representatives from the Emirates Telangana Cultural Association met him in Hyderabad to invite party leaders. Rama Rao nominated senior leader and former minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy to lead the political delegation to represent the party and support Gulf diaspora initiatives.

Which Political Leaders Are Part Of The BRS Delegation Visiting Dubai?

The BRS delegation includes Balkonda MLA Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Korutla MLA Kalvakuntla Sanjay, and former legislators Bajireddy Goverdhan, Bigala Ganesh Gupta, Aashannagari Jeevan Reddy, Jajala Surender, and Shakeel Ahmed. These leaders will join thousands of Telangana expatriate families residing in Dubai and neighboring Emirates during the daylong floral festival.

Annual international gatherings serve as vital platforms for preserving linguistic identity, traditional folk songs, and community bonding among diaspora populations. Organizers have arranged extensive cultural programs from afternoon through night to celebrate the floral festival, demonstrating the enduring global reach of Telangana’s cultural traditions in the Gulf region.
