Production house KVN Productions officially announced the title of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 158th film as Kaaka, directed by Bobby Kolli. Unveiled on the actor’s 71st birthday alongside a title teaser, the mass action entertainer is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on January 13, 2027, during the Sankranthi festival season. The first-look glimpse showcases Chiranjeevi playing Satyam, a supervisor at Ammaji Aqua Industries who possesses a covert background involving hidden weapons.
The production team at KVN Productions officially titled the project Kaaka and locked January 13, 2027, for its worldwide theatrical release during the Sankranthi festival period. The announcement came alongside a title glimpse released on the actor’s birthday.
Chiranjeevi plays K. Satyam, an aqua farm supervisor at Ammaji Aqua Industries located in Ravulapalem. The title glimpse reveals Satyam working alongside a diverse workforce before using a giant electromagnet to retrieve lost keys from a shrimp pond, accidentally pulling up a stash of hidden weapons in the process. The narrative balances this grounded character with a flashback sequence featuring a younger, stylish avatar involved in high-intensity action.

Director Bobby Kolli helms the project, marking his second collaboration with Chiranjeevi after Waltair Veerayya. The film features performances by Anaswara Rajan and Nivetha Pethuraj in central roles. S. Thaman composes the music, integrating a remastered version of the classic track “Chiku Chiku Chelam” from Gang Leader into the background score.
The filming unit completed over 40 days of principal photography across locations in Pollachi and Hyderabad. Director Bobby Kolli locked the final edit for the entire first half of the film, culminating in a major interval fight sequence designed on a massive scale.
