Faria Abdullah praised debutant filmmaker Jason Sanjay’s professionalism, saying he wanted to make Sigma independently without relying on his lineage as Thalapathy Vijay’s son. Backed by Lyca Productions and starring Sundeep Kishan, the action-adventure heist comedy is scheduled for a multilingual theatrical release on October 2, marking Jason’s directorial debut.

Faria praised the 24-year-old filmmaker for his composure, clarity, and impressive command over a large production ensemble. She noted that while audiences initially associate him with his celebrity family background, his professional execution on set quickly shifts focus toward his individual capability as a film director.
