The former CM stated that recent promotional claims made by the state government asserting an eighty-two point one percent literacy rate contradict reliable central government metrics. He highlighted that official data from the Periodic Labour Force Survey places the actual literacy level in Andhra Pradesh at approximately seventy-one percent, far below the figures publicized by the current administration.
