Jagan To Brief Governor On YSRCP Cadre Attacks

on

Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has scheduled a formal meeting with Governor S. Abdul Nazeer on Wednesday. The political tension escalated after violent clashes broke out near the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh office in Vijayawada during a peaceful demonstration organized by opposition party members.

YS Jagan will submit an official representation detailing targeted assaults on party workers by ruling TDP supporters. During the interaction, he plans to request a full Central Bureau of Investigation probe into alleged irregularities surrounding the state’s recent DSC teacher recruitment drive.

The YSRCP president held a high-level review meeting with senior leaders to evaluate the political situation following the Vijayawada violence. He alleged that local police supported ruling party operatives during the clash, allowing attackers to assault peaceful demonstrators and seize police batons without interference.

Who Is Responsible For Vijayawada Clashes? Jagan Asks

Jagan directly held Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Education Minister Nara Lokesh responsible for inciting attacks to suppress corruption allegations. He claimed the ruling coalition deployed violent groups to distract the public from growing questions regarding teacher recruitment transparency.

The opposition leader stated that police filed criminal cases against injured YSRCP victims while letting real perpetrators walk free. Jagan emphasized that his party will pursue constitutional remedies, legal action, and continued public protests until a neutral investigative agency examines the state recruitment process thoroughly.
