Jailer 2 Gets U/A Certification From CBFC

on

Jailer 2 avoids A certificate runtime complications by securing an official U/A censor certification from the Central Board of Film Certification. The production team cleared censor formalities smoothly, ensuring that family audiences and younger fans can enjoy the high-octane action thriller in theaters worldwide without adult-only viewing restrictions.

The Central Board of Film Certification locked the official runtime for the Rajinikanth starrer at 165 minutes, which equals exactly 2 hours and 45 minutes. This duration allows sufficient screen time to showcase the central storyline, dynamic action sequences, musical compositions by Anirudh Ravichander, and multi-star cameo appearances.

Jailer 2 Release Sparks Overseas Buzz?

Jailer 2 will release in theaters on October 15 in both standard and IMAX formats, Sun Pictures confirmed. With post-production completed and censorship formalities cleared, the film is set for its theatrical debut. Overseas advance booking figures indicate strong opening weekend demand across domestic and international markets.

Jailer 2 avoids A certificate runtime concerns, clearing the path for an expansive box office rollout across major Indian languages. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the sequel brings back Rajinikanth as Muthuvel Pandian alongside an ensemble cast, positioning the project as one of the year’s biggest cinematic releases.
