Thaman Faces Questions Over Language At College Event
Thaman and fellow music composer Anirudh Ravichander frequently attract exaggerated reactions from fans on social media, where enthusiastic comments about popular film songs often become trending expressions. While such language reflects excitement over successful soundtracks and energetic musical performances, certain remarks may be considered inappropriate in educational institutions or formal public gatherings. The discussion highlights the importance of maintaining suitable communication when celebrities interact with students and younger audiences.
The incident has therefore prompted questions about maintaining appropriate communication while engaging with younger audiences.Despite the criticism, Thaman also made a generous announcement that received appreciation from students attending the programme. He promised to perform a free live concert during GITAM College’s next annual festival. The composer reportedly requested only a proper stage and quality sound equipment to conduct the performance.
His announcement created excitement among students, offering them an opportunity to experience his music live without additional performance charges. The contrasting developments highlighted both the concerns surrounding his remarks and the positive response to his concert commitment.Thaman remains a prominent figure in Telugu cinema, with his public appearances regularly attracting considerable attention from music enthusiasts.
